Should I put money into the business, or take money out?
Use your own cash report and chosen floor. This assessment shows bounded cash coverage, not clearance to transfer money.
Optional: email me a copy of this assessment.
Questions owners ask
Does the historical comparison mean I can withdraw safely?
No. Historical month-end balances do not establish future cash or within-month lows.
Does this establish whether the business is losing cash?
No. Ordinary receipts are not asked. Annual ordinary payments show spending scale, not net cash change.
Can I include several exceptional items?
No. One signed item is supported. Multiple consequential items cannot be represented reliably.
What does zero transfer mean?
No owner transfer is modeled. It does not establish whether leaving the money alone is safe.
What is excluded?
Changes in unpaid invoices and bills, intervening cash timing, and several exceptional items are unmodeled. Scheduled debt payments and excluded items are not assumed absent.
Assumptions
Historical comparisons are not future cash bounds. One month of ordinary payments is B / 12; the floor in weeks of payments is F / (B / 52), omitted when B is zero. Both show scale only and never determine the headline. Your floor is your chosen balance, not a computed reserve requirement.
Sources and review dates
- Your lowest combined month-end cash balance and annual ordinary payments for the completed 12 months ending yesterday, cash accounts today, and the one item's stated amount.
- The worst comparison uses the lower of today's cash and your lowest month-end; your chosen floor sets the three headline states; annual ordinary payments show scale only.
- One material item in the next 90 days, plus your annual cash facts and the proposed transfer.
